This a spalted maple live edge bench with four hand turned maple legs. There were no nails or fasteners used in the construction. Just old school joinery. The spalted maple has beautiful dark streaks running throughout the wood. It may be hard to tell from the pics, but these streaks are not cracks. The only crack in the wood is held together by a hand cut maple bow tie. This is a sturdy bench and finished with four coats of hard poly. With its informal look it’s the perfect bench for an entryway or garden path.
