This stunning high top trestle table is made from multiple strips of walnut, cherry, and oak wood. The table top is three solid pieces of walnut with alternating strips in between. Together, the alternating woods form a strikingly beautiful and strong table. It is handmade and assembled using solid age-old joinery techniques. The only fasteners on the table are the large railroad spikes that are used on the outside of the wood to hold the trestle legs in place. They are crude and oversized and made to be seen on the outside of the wood. Wooden dowels run down through the inside of the legs to give the table added support. There are multiple coats of hard poly finish on the top to form a durable, long-lasting finish. This unique high top table will grab attention and provide a sturdy place to eat, drink, or entertain on for as long as you can use it.
