These are made from old-growth pines, which means they are hundreds of years old. They were cut from a 1950s telephone pole, which was likely made in the 20s-30s, which means the tree it was made from was really old. The growth rings are tight. There are almost 100 years of growth that you can count on the surface of these soap holders.
