This is a set of hand carved wooden kitchen utensils with a live edge base. They are made of solid black walnut taken from a downed tree which we then turned into these beautiful utensils for your kitchen.
We’ve hand rubbed them with a natural beeswax and mineral oil mix for a 100% food safe finish. As with any wooden kitchen utensil they will need to have a food safe finish reapplied as they show wear. This is unavoidable and not a big deal. Don’t let it scare you away from owning a pair of really nice wood utensils. They really are superior and feel great in your hand and in a pan. They won’t scratch your pots and pans and they look fantastic sitting on your counter.
No power tools were used to make these items. They are hand shaped, scraped, and sanded for a one of a kind authentic look. No two are exactly alike. They look and feel great and are balanced in your hand. They make a great gift for someone who loves to cook and appreciates high quality.
The unique wedge shaped base allows the utensils to be fully seen and easily accessible when cooking. It’s much better than jamming them into a jar on your counter.
These are made to order, so allow 2-3 weeks for us to make and ship them too you.
