This is a custom-made end table built sturdy from salvaged parts. It has a vintage iron base that’s both heavy and beautiful. The patina is all natural from years and years of use and abuse. The reclaimed wood top is a salvaged silo hatch door from an old farm, complete with original latches, handles, and bolts. There are 4 coats of polyurethane on the wood to create a durable finish that would even be suitable for an outdoor patio. There is a clear coat over the entire iron base to maintain the rusty look without it rubbing off on hands and surfaces. This is a one-of-a-kind piece, but I have the matching supplies to make another if two were needed.
