This milk stool is modeled after a vintage milk stool that I found in my good friends house who was once an antiques dealer. I loved the charm and unique style to the stool. It is very useful and it’s interesting to look at.
We recreated this one using strips of wood. The top is built using cherry, walnut, and oak wood strips and the legs are walnut. This stool is made using traditional joinery methods without the use of nails or screws. It’s very sturdy and solid. It’s made by hand and shaped with hand tools. This piece will be handed down to the next generation. It could be used as a seat, plant stand, foot stool, or conversation piece. It looks great in almost any room and would make a great house warming gift.
